LinkedIn post · September 26, 2026 · For revenue operations, leaving salesforce cpq, sales leaders

Salesforce CPQ is no longer sold. What comes next?

Salesforce CPQ stopped being sold to new customers in March 2025.

If you run it today, you have a decision to make: re-implement in Revenue Cloud, or look at other options. Either way it’s a project, not an upgrade.

One question worth asking before you scope it: does your next quoting system also fix what happens after the quote? Contracts, billing and renewals are where most of the rework lives.

QTCFolio keeps Salesforce as your CRM and replaces CPQ with a connected quote-to-cash system you can adopt one stage at a time.

The longer version

Salesforce CPQ reached end of sale on 19 March 2025 (source). CPQ still works, but new investment has moved to Revenue Cloud, and existing customers are being steered there. Moving to Revenue Cloud is a new implementation, and years of price rules and workarounds have to be reviewed whatever you choose.

Replacing CPQ alone also leaves contracts, billing and renewals disconnected. QTCFolio was designed as a Salesforce CPQ replacement that covers the whole lifecycle: approvals with preflight checks, contract packages with versions and redlines, subscription, milestone and verified-usage billing, and renewals with installed assets.

Your sellers keep working from Salesforce opportunities. Users, accounts, contacts and opportunities stay in sync, and the primary quote drives the opportunity forecast. You can start with quoting or approvals, then add contracts and billing when you’re ready, instead of a single cutover.
